About the Role
Reporting to the Traffic Manager, you will work closely with project teams, clients and approval authorities to develop practical, compliant traffic management solutions that support project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and update Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS).
* Submit TMPs for approval and coordinate any required amendments.
* Work closely with the Traffic Manager, Project Managers and site teams to develop practical traffic management solutions.
* Ensure approved traffic management documentation is in place prior to works commencing.
* Maintain accurate records of approvals, revisions and expiry dates.
* Communicate traffic management requirements and changes to project teams.
* Conduct site inspections as required to verify compliance with approved plans.
* Assist with the ongoing improvement of traffic management processes and systems.
Key Requirements
* Current Driver's Licence – C Class
* Construction White Card
* Advanced Worksite Traffic Management (AWTM) accreditation
* Proficiency in TMP design software (e.g., RapidPlan or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong knowledge of Main Roads WA requirements, Australian Standards and local government approval processes
* Ability to interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive approach to problem‐solving with a strong focus on safety and compliance
