About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth in the B2B travel market. The candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities, developing partnerships, training clients, and promoting travel-related services to travel agencies across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Cover the B2B market, promote brand positioning and service offerings
* Develop new business opportunities and affiliations
* Conduct client training and provide customer support
* Generate leads and convert them into business
* Manage sales of travel services to travel agents
* Follow up on quotes, proposals, and inquiries
* Maintain and grow business relationships with existing and new clients
* Coordinate with internal operations team for pre‐sales support
* Meet 5 to 6 travel agents daily during field visits
Required Experience and Skills
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the travel industry
* Business Development and Account Management experience
* Strong knowledge of outbound destinations, local travel trade, and travel agencies
* Good communication skills in English and local language
* Proficiency in MS Office, email, and internet research
* Valid driving license
* IATA certification (preferred)
* Willingness to travel extensively (80 percent fieldwork)
* Candidates must have a valid work permit or right to work in Melbounre, Australia
