Responsibilities
As Partnership & Public Relations Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of partnerships and public relations activities that elevate The Star Gold Coast's brand presence, drive strong visitation and return, and enhance guest engagement. This 15‑month contract commences February 2026.
* Manage a range of commercial and community partnerships to deliver strong ROMI in line with our marketing strategy
* Review and assess current and future opportunities to maximise ROMI and enhance brand re‑appraisal
* Lead the development and execution of PR, partnership and event plans
* Project manage partnership activations, working with cross‑functional teams
* Ensure PR messages are communicated through targeted publicity channels to increase brand awareness and drive visitation
* Oversee and optimise allocated budgets, ensuring accurate monthly reporting, timely accruals, and effective collaboration with Finance and the General Manager Marketing
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in consumer Public Relations and Marketing Communications, coupled with proven ability to manage partnerships end‑to‑end, from contract negotiation through to execution and activation
* A strong and established network of local Gold Coast media contacts
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to confidently lead discussions and manage stakeholder expectations
* Experience activating commercial partnerships and PR campaigns
* Understanding of relevant laws, including Privacy, Marketing, Casino Control Act, OH&S, and regulatory legislation
* Flexible availability to attend media commitments, famils, events and/or activations when required
