CGC Recruitment are working in collaboration with a well established, privately owned commercial & industrial building head contractor with over 40 staff in Perth. They have a requirement for a CA/QS to join on an existing project on a 5 month fixed term contract to see the project out.
The Role – Contract Administrator / Quantity Surveyor
The project is a large scale $40m industrial facility, with the project currently on track. This position would support an experienced Project Manager who has been on the project since inception.
Well suited to either a WHV visa QS/CA or an immediately available CA with a proven background working on commercial construction projects in excess of $10m+.
Responsibilities
* Contract & subcontract management
* Manage progress claims, variations, EOTs, and cost-to-complete reporting to maintain accurate project financials and protect margin
* Procurement & Compliance
* Stakeholder Coordination – liaise with project managers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve commercial and contractual matters promptly
* Reporting & Risk Management – maintain registers (variations, RFIs, risks, procurement) and provide timely commercial updates to senior management and clients
Benefits
As the position is a fixed term contract for 5 months until the end of January, the client is willing to pay a competitive package from $140-150k + Super, plus a project completion bonus at the end of the project. As it is a FTC, you will receive all benefits of permanent employment - including annual leave, sick leave, etc.
