Role:

JASANZ is seeking a highly capable and motivated Technical Specialist to join our Health and Human Services sector. This role is instrumental in supporting the development, evaluation, and oversight of accreditation schemes activities with a primary focus in this sector. There are also opportunities to develop and contribute to our other sector activities.

You will collaborate with internal teams, accredited bodies, Australian, New Zealand and international stakeholders to support the delivery of robust, future-focused accreditation services that promote trust and excellence in the marketplace.

Role requirements:

Contribute to the development and maintenance of accreditation schemes in areas such as:

* National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

* Reproductive Technology Accreditation Committee Scheme (RTAC)

* Medical Devices Quality Management Systems Scheme (MD QMS)

* Occupational Health & Safety Management System Scheme (OH SMS)

* Human Services Quality Framework (HSQF)

Interpret and apply international standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17021-1, ISO/IEC 17065:2012).

Lead or support technical assessments and evaluations of conformity assessment bodies.

Provide expert technical advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Human and Health Services sector and ascertain the implications for accreditation.

Thought leadership including participation in industry events and forums within the sector and throughout the broader assessment ecosystem.

Candidate profile:

* Ability to perform auditing services in accreditation, with knowledge of the Australian / New Zealand regulatory environment relevant to the sector.

* Domain expertise in Health and Human Services

* A strategic mindset and the ability to stay ahead of emerging trends across the sector

* Friendly, professional presence with the ability to navigate complexity and build trust

* Strong organisational and reporting skills to keep others informed

* This role will appeal to professional working within the health and human services sector, and those who are already in audit roles and where a diversity of work and balanced audit related work is sought.
