Home Care Assistant
This role offers a rewarding career opportunity to provide care and support to individuals in their own homes. As a Home Care Assistant, you will work with clients to promote independence, dignity, and well-being.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing personal care assistance such as bathing, dressing, and continence care
* Assisting with cleaning, shopping, meal preparation, and other light housework
* Transporting clients to appointments and undertaking personal shopping
* Assisting with medication administration
* Supporting the development of consumer-driven care plans
You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and develop a personalized care plan to meet their requirements. You will also maintain accurate records of client interactions and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will also have a current driver's license, willingness to use your own insured and reliable vehicle for work purposes (km's paid), and physical capacity to carry out the duties required.

Requirements
* Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
* National Police Check
* Current driver's license and willingness to use own insured and reliable vehicle for work purposes (km's paid)
* Physical capacity to carry out the duties required
