Chef/Cook – Full Time | Part Time | Casual | Apprenticeship Opportunity
The Inverell RSM Club is seeking a passionate and experienced Chef or Cook to join our Catering Team. You'll be part of a supportive kitchen environment, preparing quality meals for our Bistro customers and helping deliver an exceptional dining experience.
What You'll Be Doing
* Preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes to a consistently high standard
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen
* Assisting with menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery
* Supporting and guiding junior team members
* Managing stock rotation, inventory, and cost control
* Collaborating with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a similar hospitality environment
* Sound knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* A genuine passion for creating fresh, high-quality dishes using local ingredients
* Team-focused attitude with great communication skills
* Formal qualifications such as Certificate III in Commercial Cookery are highly desirable
