An exciting and challenging opportunity is available for a Senior Town Planner or Consultant to join our team. We offer flexible workplace arrangements to enable staff to work in a hybrid setting.
This is an exceptional career opportunity where you will participate in complex planning projects, provide guidance to junior and administrative staff and seek out new clients to establish new business for the firm.
You will be involved in a diverse range of interesting projects including the opportunity to act on behalf of various clients and advocate at VCAT and Planning Panels Victoria.
You will receive guidance and mentoring from our Managing Director, Bill Kusznirczuk, and Senior Staff of the firm.
Key Selection Criteria
* Bachelor's degree and/or relevant qualifications in town planning (essential).
* Have previous experience (preferably 2 years +) in private consulting or planners looking to transition from local government.
* Must be innovative, detail-oriented, experienced in a range of planning projects.
* Capable of managing a multiple and diverse range of projects.
* Strong interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships at various levels and to resolve complaints.
* The ability to understand and interpret technical and legal materials.
* Ability to manage projects effectively and meet deadlines.
