About the Role
Our reputation has seen the business experience considerable growth, and we are looking for a highly experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Engineer, you will work within a cohesive operational team that ensures the company objectives for profit, program, quality, safety, and environmental performance for each project are achieved. Your expertise will ensure that all work adheres to the necessary specifications and standards, playing a crucial role in the overall success of our projects.
* This role is based across all MGC projects through Perth Metro

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Ensure works align with IFC drawings, specifications, and council standards
* Coordinate QA inspections, ITPs, and test plans
* Support short-term program updates and delivery progress
* Monitor subcontractor delivery and engineering compliance
* Escalate risks and support technical resolution in real-time
* Interpret and communicate engineering plans to delivery teams
* Validate works against specifications, levels, and tolerances
* Coordinate with survey, testing providers, and project stakeholders
* Identify constructability issues and support field adjustments
* Work with Site Supervisors to confirm sequencing and layouts
* Support PMs with lookahead planning, progress updates, and program revisions
* Monitor field activity and ensure engineering support is responsive to changes
* Assist in verification of completed works for claims and reporting

About You

* Experience in exercising good judgment in appraising difficult situations and making appropriate decisions pertaining to equipment condition and appropriate corrective
* Ability to proactively work within a team together with the ability to work unsupervised
Qualifications
Mandatory
* Degree or higher in Civil Engineering
* Current WA Drivers Licence
* WA Police Clearance – no more than 1 year old
* White Card
* Proven industry experience, minimum 3 years
Desirable
* Senior First Aid training
* Other relevant certificates and or competencies are also desirable
