About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Guest Service Agent to join our team at Sealink's mainland terminal. As the first point of contact for our valued guests, you will be responsible for ensuring their journey to and from K'gari (Fraser Island) is seamless and enjoyable.
The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle reservations, and assist guests with their inquiries. They will work closely with a dynamic team in a picturesque location, River Heads.
This part-time 6-month contract role offers potential for extension. You will work 3-4 days weekly, including some weekends, across a 14-day roster.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist guests with general enquiries.
* Handle reservations, ticketing, and check-in procedures efficiently.
* Provide accurate information about Fraser Island attractions, activities, and services.
* Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
* Manage phone calls and direct all guests to the appropriate check-in areas.
* Assist in coordinating bus and guest arrivals when needed.
* Accurately obtain and process all guest registration information and resort information.
Requirements:
* Exceptional time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
* A positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
* Strong computer skills.
