About the role
We are currently seeking a Disability Support Worker who lives in and around the Avoca Beach area to support a 77-year old male with a Traumatic Brain Injury to live independently within his own home.

Shift times available are:
* Alternate Tuesday and Wednesday 0800-1100
* Thursday and Friday 0800-1100
Duties include but not limited to
* Assistance with Personal care tasks
* Medication Administration
* Assistance with therapy tasks
* Use of Mobility Equipment
* Light Domestic Assistance
* Meal Preparation and Community Participation
* Applying of Protective Dressing
* PEG tube feeding and management
You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.
What you need:
* Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
* Current references
* Mobile phone
* Current driver's licence and your own car with insurance
* NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
* First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
* Working With Children Check – Paid (mandatory)
* Certificate III (Ageing and Disability) or equivalent (mandatory)
