**As Venue Manager you will**:
- Plan, organise, direct, control and review the day-to-day operations and major functions of the Precinct.
- Lead and manage the Precinct team, building a team environment and ethos that values continuous improvement, a collaborative culture focussed on the achievement of objectives within approved timeframes and budgets to support safe community participation in sport and active recreation.
- Develop and maintain effective partnerships with other government agencies, a diverse range of key stakeholders including local governments, sport and recreation organisations and not-for-profit organisations as necessary and appropriate to enhance the planning, development and delivery of sport and active recreation opportunities at Active Precincts.
- Refine, develop and implement the strategic and operational policies and procedures for the safe, efficient and effective management of the Precinct.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a strategic asset management, capital works and maintenance plan for the Precinct.
- Work in collaboration with the Manager Precinct and Venues Support to lead the development of appropriate programs and activities to increase participation in sport and active recreation in State-owned facilities.
- Ensure appropriate standards of client service and relationship management to position the Precinct as an exemplar sport and active recreation facility in Queensland.

To be appointed to a permanent position, you must be an Australian citizen, have permanent residency status or a visa permitting you to work permanently in Australia. For temporary appointments, you must have a visa permitting you to work for the length of the temporary appointment.
