About the Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to play a pivotal role in one of New South Wales' most significant healthcare transformations. In this role, you'll lead workforce initiatives that power major digital health programs, including SWLIMS, Pointe, and eReporting, helping to modernise and streamline healthcare services across the state. You'll partner with senior leaders, industrial partners, and key stakeholders to deliver effective change management, workforce planning, and cultural transformation initiatives that set our teams up for long-term success. What You'll Be Doing
Support both the workforce and industrial aspects of the Fusion Project, analysing and advising on workforce changes resulting from the digital and organisational transformations occurring within NSW Health Pathology.
Monitor and report on workforce status and the impact of actions/interventions.
Partner with the Fusion Change Lead, Fusion Program Director, COO, Associate Directors – HR and Deputy Director, Strategic HR & Projects to develop and implement proactive and responsive HR change-management initiatives related to the Fusion Project.
Attend relevant forums, lead critical discussions, analyse changes and assess their impact from a workforce perspective, recommending appropriate and timely action.
Provide subject-matter expertise and leadership in work with industrial organisations, legislative instruments and public sector structures, policies and processes.
Deliver a diverse range of human resource and workforce functions, including high-level HR advice, coaching and consultancy services to support managers and staff.
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, human resource management, industrial relations or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience facilitating complex HR change-management initiatives with proven ability to project-manage effectively.
Proven capacity leading HR/IR aspects of large-scale workforce transformations and programmes of work.
High-level communication, liaison and negotiation skills, including experience working with front-line managers, senior managers and industrial associations.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic organisational environment.
Sound understanding of NSW Health employment frameworks including relevant awards, industrial instruments, policies and legislation.
