The Role
Day shift and Night shift availability. Join the North West Maintenance team working on a variety of sites in WA's Pilbara. Take advantage of diverse shutdown opportunities with a range of clients in an energetic and supportive environment.
* Maintenance and punch‐list experience highly regarded.
* Maintain all correct consumables, feeds, amperages and pre‐heat in accordance with applicable weld procedures.
* Weld steel structures in sequence to eliminate shrinkage and distortion of steel components.
* Remove tack welds, clean and restore weld preparations where required.
* Solid understanding of current Australian Welding Standards.
* Welding techniques including, but not limited to, MMAW, FCAW and Arc air gouging.
* Ability to pass weld tests 3G, 4G and 6G.
* Follow quality control systems and techniques.
About You
* Australian recognised trade certificate.
* Construction White Card.
* Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue).
* Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue).
* Gas Test Atmospheres (desirable).
* Ability to pass a pre‐employment medical and regular/random drug and alcohol screens.
* Additional tickets will be highly regarded.
