Job Overview

Purpose of the Leading Hand role at Achievable Enterprises
As a Leading Hand, you will provide supervision, guidance and support to Supported Employees, empowering and enabling them to perform work tasks and achieve their employment and personal goals, as detailed in their Individual Employment Plans; whilst achieving commercial outcomes.

Working hours are Monday to Friday: 7:30am to 3:30pm or 8am to 4pm

Role Responsibilities:

- Provide supervision and guidance to a team of up to 5 Supported Employees.
- Coordinate and allocate tasks to supported employees to maximise the effective utilisation of the team in meeting commercial targets.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the factory to ensure a safe environment to all.
- Ensure the timely provision of all mandatory reporting to meet the requirements of the Operations Manager.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager, and other members of management to regularly review operational processes and procedures to develop and implement initiatives supporting the continuous improvement of service delivery.
- This is a hands on role in a very fast paced environment.

About You:

- Warehouse experience.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience or ability to provide supervision to people with disability (training will be provided).
- Understanding or ability to learn of issues affecting people with disability and their families.
- High reach forklift licence is highly desirable.
- Current First Aid certificate will be required for this role.
