Job Description
* Provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and managers.
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to support business objectives.
* Manage employee relations, ensuring compliance with workplace legislation and company policies.
* Support performance management processes and provide coaching to managers.
* Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
* Collaborate with the wider HR team to deliver training and development programs.
* Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that align with the organisation's goals.
* Assist the payroll department.
Qualifications
* A relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
* 1 year previous experience in an HR role (within the retail industry is advantageous).
* Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
* Proficiency in HR systems (Workday is essential) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A proactive approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making.
* Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail.
