Join the dynamic team at Capital Travel Mauka as a full/part-time Travel Agent based in Manuka, Canberra.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and booking unforgettable travel experiences for our diverse clientele.
What you'll be doing
* Expertly planning and booking domestic and international travel arrangements, including cruises, coach tours, walking tours, special interest tours, generational travel, groups, corporate, conferences and many more.
* Providing personalised travel advice and recommendations to clients based on their unique preferences and requirements.
* Assisting clients with travel insurance and other required travel-related documents.
* Maintaining detailed records of client bookings and enquiries.
* Responding promptly to client queries and resolving any issues that may arise.
* Continuously expanding your knowledge of destinations, products and services to offer the best possible advice.
* Collaborating with the broader team to achieve sales targets and deliver an exceptional customer experience
What we're looking for
* Prior experience in Travel or Customer Service is desirable but not required.
* Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations, products and services
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide personalised, empathetic customer service
* Highly organised and efficient, with strong attention to detail.
* Proficient in using travel booking systems and technology.
* A passion for travel and a genuine desire to help others plan their dream holidays.
