About The Role
In this role you will support the Communications and Marketing team on integrated marketing and communication plans and engagement strategies.
You will plan and schedule posts on multi-platforms that are creative, engaging, and informative for the public.
You will assist with creative content development to drive growth and socially connect with community members online.
You will monitor key trends and community sentiment and proactively respond to customer enquiries via Council's social media channels.
You will collaborate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to determine suitable outcomes for the customer and the business.
You will also review social analytics and evaluate overall implementation of campaign strategies to report on measurables that align with the Corporate and Operational Plan.
About You
You will have tertiary qualifications in creative arts, marketing, or digital communications, 2 - 3 years' experience in key social media activities including social campaign management, audience engagement and content marketing.
You will have experience in managing Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads and demonstrated experience in creatively using a range of multimedia tools for content production including photography or videography to maximise reach and target key audiences via social media channels.
You will have a strong ability to strategically identify social trends, create relevant content and be analytical in reporting on campaigns.
