Overview
As a Process Worker in our Primary or Secondary Processing team, you’ll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly and delivering high-quality poultry products to our customers.
This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and offers the chance to work in a supportive team environment where safety and quality come first.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a range of tasks across the production line to keep operations running without delays.
- Prepare and organise all materials (cartons, crates, pallets, labels, film, trays, etc.) to ensure smooth and efficient product changeovers.
- Manual handling of products (up to 20kg) and assisting with loading/unloading where required.
- Sort, clean, cut, and package boned and sliced meat into cartons while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Palletise, scan, wrap, and label products ready for dispatch.
- Work closely with team members, machine operators, and supervisors to maintain production flow and achieve daily targets.
- Some roles may include hanging poultry on the line, depending on the department.
- Assist with changeovers and help improve efficiency to maximise production uptime.
- Keep the workplace safe, clean, and organised – including proper waste disposal and regular cleaning of floors, equipment, and work surfaces.
- Ensure all equipment is kept in top condition and used correctly.

- Meet production targets and promptly report any maintenance issues to Leading Hands or Supervisors.
- Be based in Bendigo (or willing to relocate and arrange your own transport).
