Our organization is seeking a seasoned legal expert to drive the success of our projects. As Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex construction contracts, consultancy agreements, and procurement documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Drafting and review of project contracts, including allocation of risk, insurance, and regulatory compliance.
* Providing strategic advice on project delivery phases, ensuring alignment with business goals.
* Managing disputes, claims, and litigation through resolution strategies and external counsel engagement.
* Supporting contract administration by advising on variations, EOT claims, and contract interpretation.
* Driving legal operations through internal training, monitoring regulatory changes, and aligning legal risk management with business objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor of Laws and current practicing certificate.
* Extensive expertise in construction law, advising on complex issues in major infrastructure and commercial projects.
* Proven track record in large-scale infrastructure and commercial construction projects.
* Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
* Highly organized, managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
