About the role
We are seeking an Accounts Payable & Administration Officer to join our head office team in Albion Park Rail.
This role combines hands‐on Accounts Payable responsibilities with general office administration, bringing together tasks that are currently shared across the team into one central role. It is well suited to someone who enjoys structure, variety, and being a reliable point of contact for both finance and office‐related matters.
The role is fully office‐based and will work closely with the finance team and wider business to support smooth day‐to‐day operations.
Key responsibilities
* Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
* Performing supplier statement reconciliations
* Preparing and assisting with payment runs
* Investigating and resolving invoice or account discrepancies
* Liaising with suppliers and internal teams regarding costing and accounts queries
* Maintaining accurate records and supporting documentation
* Acting as a first point of contact for general office and reception phone calls
* Ordering and coordinating administrative purchases
* Responding to day‐to‐day internal queries and requests
* Supporting general office administration tasks as required
* Assisting in keeping office processes organised and running smoothly
About you
* Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance support role
* Comfort working across both finance and administration tasks
* Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
* Clear, professional communication skills
* Experience using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
* A proactive, helpful approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
* Ability to work full‐time, on‐site in Albion Park Rail
