We are looking for a hands-on and dependable Warehouse Leading Hand to support our busy Cairns Steel Centre. This is a great opportunity to step into a team leadership role and be part of a growing branch within a well-established Australian business.
The afternoon shift is from 3pm – 11pm.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll work closely with other Supervisors to ensure orders are picked, loaded, and ready for dispatch. You'll lead by example, help coordinate the team, and keep things running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities
* Support and guide a small team
* Supervise the loading of trucks
* Ensure safe and accurate picking and loading of orders
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Work closely with other supervisors to meet daily targets
* Drive a strong safety culture
What we're looking for
* Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
* A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to lead by example
* A valid C Class driver's licence
* A current forklift licence (preferred)
