About the role
This full-time Credit Analyst/Broker Support role presents an excellent opportunity to join the team at JS Medical and Dental Finance, a leading provider of specialised finance solutions in Bowen Hills, QLD for Medical and Dental Professionals for business and personal lending. In this position, you will play a vital part in supporting our mortgage brokers and analysing loan applications to ensure we deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients.
What you'll be doing
* Liaising with mortgage brokers to gather all necessary information and documentation for loan applications
* Assessing loan applications and performing detailed credit analysis to determine applicants' eligibility and serviceability
* Analysing Self Employed Customer financials
* Providing exceptional customer service to brokers and applicants throughout the loan application process
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
* Collaborating with the broader team to identify process improvements and enhance the customer experience
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a credit analyst or similar role within the banking/finance industry
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret self-employed financial information and identify risks
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with brokers and customers
* Thorough understanding of credit policies, lending regulations and mortgage industry practices
* Proficient in using loan application and credit assessment software infinity
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality, compliant outcomes
