About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Contracts Officer to play a pivotal role in the end-to-end tender and contract management process across the Group. The position involves responsibilities such as contract reviews, negotiations, and ensuring compliance with Group policies and guidelines.The Contracts Officer oversees all aspects of assigned commercial contracts, including contract compliance, supplier relationship management, negotiation, and strategy development for contract extensions and new contracts. The role collaborates closely with team members to facilitate effective contract management.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with team members and other departments within the business.Prepare, evaluate, and manage tenders and contracts, including clarifications, negotiations, drafting, and post-award processes, efficiently and effectively.Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Present contract award recommendations to senior leadership and the Board.Achieve success in negotiations, including cost savings, dispute resolution, and stakeholder relationship management.About YouTertiary qualifications in Finance, Procurement, or Law.Strong commercial acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities, completing multiple tasks on time.Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining industry (5+ years).Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Experience with price review mechanisms and price adjustments.Proven negotiation and contract resolution skills.Outstanding stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.Highly organized and enthusiastic team player.Your MotivationYou aim to make a difference, challenge yourself and others to improve, and pursue solutions with purpose.
