Role - Acute Equipment Specialist
An exciting role exists for and experienced Territory Manager/Equipment Specialist with a strong sales background in Acute/Hospital space.
Reporting to the State Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for marketing and driving revenue for a diverse range of capital and medical equipment. You will offer expert advice and your technical expertise presented to key stakeholders ranging from NUMs to C-Suite, and will deliver solutions to facilities, whilst also driving better patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities are as follows:
- Meet or exceed allocated budget requirements
- Maintain existing company accounts, driving better results for end user
- Build networks amongst various stakeholders both internally and externally to assist in the growth of assigned territory
- Advise management of trends and developments within the market
- Work to a call plan and utilise CRM functions to strategize future opportunities
- Work collaboratively with the business' operations and service teams to develop other areas of the organisation
- Driven with a hunter mentality
- Resilient and adaptable to change
- Emotionally intelligent
- Proven sales success within the hospital sales industry or other related fields
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications will be a distinct advantage. Either a business degree or science related area
- OTs, Physios, nurses desirable, however not essential
- Understanding the private and public hospital system, and the procurement process
- Ability to identify and develop new opportunities
- Ability to work autonomously, but also a team player within the business both locally and nationally
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Strong negotiation and selling skills
- Ability to communicate technical and clinical information to a variety of external stakeholders
- Willingness to travel overnight where required regionally and also sales attend sales conferences interstate
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Relationships with key opinion leaders within hospital and healthcare
