Key Responsibilities:
Primary Health Care Delivery: Provide comprehensive, culturally safe healthcare services to clients accessing clinics in Alice Springs and Amoonguna communities.
Assessment and Treatment: Conduct holistic health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans that take into account client cultural needs and preferences.
Interprofessional Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support services are provided.
Culturally Responsive Practice: Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering culturally responsive care that respects the diversity of clients' backgrounds.
Requirements:
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Indigenous Community Experience: Proven experience working with Indigenous communities and a deep understanding of their social determinants of health.
Qualifications and Education: Relevant qualifications and education in a related field, such as nursing or healthcare management.
