Job Title:
Tyre Fitter - Ipswich Qld
We are seeking a skilled Tyre Fitter to join our North Tivoli Maintenance Team. The successful candidate will have a solid background in tyre maintenance across heavy vehicles, trailers and plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Remove, inspect, repair, and fit tyres for trucks, trailers, plant, and light vehicles
* Conduct routine pressure checks, rotate tyres, and assess wear patterns
* Identify and report any tyre-related defects or mechanical concerns
* Manage tyre stock levels and assist with ordering when required
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
* Assist with basic mechanical repairs and general maintenance tasks
* Collaborate with workshop and fleet teams to ensure timely vehicle turnaround
* Uphold all safety procedures and contribute to a positive safety culture
Requirements:
* Proven experience in tyre fitting, preferably within heavy vehicle, transport, or civil industries
* A current driver's licence (HC licence highly regarded)
* General Construction Certificate (White or Blue Card)
* Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
* High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
* Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays as part of a rotating roster
* A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
