We're looking for an experienced ecommerce professional who's passionate about growth, energised by challenges, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This role is for a self-starter with a strong commercial mindset, advanced analytical ability, and solid technical capability across ecommerce platforms.
You'll take ownership of end-to-end ecommerce operations, drive revenue through smart campaign and content execution, manage complex product catalogues across marketplaces, and help steer strategic initiatives that align with the wider business objectives.
What You'll Be Doing: Lead the daily operations of ecommerce channels including the companies own platform and major marketplaces (Amazon, MyDeal, Kogan, eBay).
Build and deliver data-informed promotional campaigns and loyalty initiatives that drive traffic, boost conversions, and generate measurable ROI.
Manage a product catalogue of 1,000+ SKUs – ensuring pricing, content, and inventory alignment to minimise obsolescence and maximise commercial returns.
Optimise performance across platforms using tools like Google Analytics, Power BI, and Hotjar, and apply insights to improve customer journeys and site functionality.
Take a hands-on approach with operational tasks including image uploads, price updates, and SEO – ensuring a high-quality, high-converting site experience.
Own and optimise ecommerce tech stack integrations (Maropost or similar; Shopify; Magento; Woo-Commerce), ensuring smooth functionality and alignment with business needs.
Work cross-functionally to ensure compliance with brand and regulatory standards while delivering commercial results.
Develop and maintain performance reporting frameworks to track KPIs, risks, and opportunities; lead regular reporting to the Senior Leadership Team.
Manage and mentor an offshore ecommerce assistant and external agencies to drive high performance.
Act as the ecommerce voice internally and externally, influencing stakeholders with strong commercial rationale and market insight.
What We're Looking For: Commercial acumen is non-negotiable – you must understand how ecommerce impacts the broader business, and be able to build strategic plans, interpret P&Ls, and identify revenue-driving opportunities.
Strong technical understanding of ecommerce operations and platforms, including experience with Maropost or similar systems like Shopify.
Demonstrated success managing products and promotional performance on marketplaces.
Highly analytical and data-driven, with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, forecasting, complex formulas).
Deep understanding of SEO, customer behaviour, and traffic optimisation.
Proven project management skills – comfortable leading system integrations, process changes, and GTM initiatives.
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and reporting skills.
Curious, proactive, and energised by building something – not afraid to roll up your sleeves and make things happen.
Experience working in distribution or omni-channel environments.
Familiarity with the Microsoft suite and existing relationships with ecommerce vendors or digital marketing agencies.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
Successful candidate will be required to undergo National Police Check.
