 
        
        Our client is an industry leader provider of lighting control and power distribution products. They are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Electronics technician to test, repair & document records. 
The position requirements include but are not limited to: 
Repair: Avolites lighting consoles, dimmer racks, power and data distribution equipment 
Repair/replace a surface-mount component onto PCBs 
Provide phone and email support to clients, offering technical advice and troubleshooting 
Replacing complex components, such as a microprocessors 
Diagnosing and repairing faults on PCBs 
Support Quality Assurance by testing production units when required 
Comply with all workplace safety and fire protection procedures 
To be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following: 
Relevant trade qualifications (e.g. mechatronics, electronics, electrical) 
Proven experience in a technical service or repair role (preferred) 
Excellent fault-finding abilities and high attention to detail 
Strong verbal and written communication skills 
Friendly, helpful and committed to providing outstanding customer support 
Experience in the entertainment industry, especially with lighting control systems and moving lights, is a robust advantage 
Valid passport and ability to travel freely to the UK and Europe 
Hours & Rates: 
6am start time but flexibility exists with start and finish times. 
$75K- $85K negotiable based on skills and experience, + super
