Our client, a provider of critical communication for public safety, mining and utility customers is seeking a
Territory Manager
– WA/SA
to drive sales and market share in the wireless communication and two-way radio industry. This position will be based in Perth or Adelaide. You will be responsible for driving growth across WA and SA. You'll manage channel partner relationships, support tenders, and identify new business opportunities across government, consultants, and end clients. This role focuses on servicing existing partners, recruiting new ones, and ensuring customer needs are met in line with business objectives and standards.
The key responsibilities in this position are:
Manage sales activities within WA and SA territories (and other regions as required).
Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and government agencies.
Promote radio communication products and solutions to partners and end users.
Provide updates on new and existing products, ensuring alignment with partner sales strategies.
Support partners with technical assistance when needed and mediate product/account issues.
Identify new business opportunities with government bodies, consultants, and end clients.
Prepare and submit tenders and reports as required.
Deliver accurate sales forecasts and market insights to management.
Represent the company at trade shows, events, and presentations.
Train and support channel partner sales teams on product knowledge.
Travel within assigned territories as required.
Expected Outcomes
Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radio platforms (P25, DMR, NXDN, LTE, etc.).
Ensure partner KPIs are met and provide timely reporting on projects and market activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong understanding of two-way radio communication technologies (DMR, P25, NXDN preferred).
Proven experience in sales and customer service.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
Ability to build rapport quickly with partners and customers.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing territories.
Experience preparing complex tender responses.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
