Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. As a Façade Engineer, you will be responsible for managing façade design and detailing, performing structural and weatherproofing assessments, and ensuring compliance with building codes and standards. You will participate in collaboration with project stakeholders, conduct site inspections, and provide construction-phase support. Additionally, you will be involved in creating practical solutions for façade-related challenges and contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality projects.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Façade Design and general understanding of Building Envelope systems
* Knowledge of Structural Engineering and Building Physics principles as they apply to façades
* Experience with façade compliance, including understanding of NCC & DBP Act regulations
* Strong project management skills, including coordination of procurement and construction support
* Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with architects, builders, and developers
* Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Façade Engineering or a related field
* Proven experience in façade engineering, including site inspections and system certification
* Proficiency with relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or structural analysis applications, is a plus
