Buying Assistant / Purchasing Coordinator

Please note: this is a full‐time, onsite role based at our purpose‐built facility in Forrestdale.

What you'll be doing:

* Raising, tracking and managing purchase orders
* Liaising with local and international suppliers regarding orders, pricing, product information and delivery updates
* Assisting the buying team with product setup, supplier records, pricing, packaging checks and administrative support
* Analysing sales, stock and product data to support buying decisions
* Preparing reports and product information for internal teams
* Reviewing packaging, barcodes, product details and artwork for accuracy and quality
* Supporting internal sales and customer service teams with product and stock enquiries
* Assisting with system, data and process updates as required
* Working closely with warehouse, accounts, sales and management teams

To be successful in this position you will need to have:

* A practical, team‐focused attitude and willingness to learn
* The ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up outstanding items
* Strong computer skills and confidence learning new systems
* Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, filtering, and formulas
* Good numerical, analytical and problem‐solving skills
* Confidence working with business systems such as ERP, inventory, accounting or order management software
* High attention to detail, especially with product codes, pricing, packaging and supplier information
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams
* Previous experience in internal sales, accounts, customer service or administration would be highly regarded
* Strong follow‐up skills and the ability to keep orders, tasks and information moving
* A proactive approach and willingness to help across different areas of the business
* Good written communication skills, especially when dealing with suppliers and internal teams
* Full working rights in Australia
