An opportunity exists for a fulltime Warehouse Pick and Packer at our foodservice branch located in Mackay.
About the role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful applicant will be required to accurately pick and pack goods, ensuring the loading of trucks are correct and on time. This is a physical position with some heavy lifting. Training on in-house systems will be provided.
Duties:
* Pick and assemble goods accurately
* Assist with loading of trucks
* Employ correct stock rotation principles at all times based on 'first in first out' rule
* Adhere to time constraints and maintain product integrity
* Various roles available, which may require the ability to work in the freezer storage area, at -22 °C temperatures
* Sunday to Thursday position, with flexibility as overtime may be required
Skills and Experience:
* Forklift licence (advantageous)
* Cold Storage / Warehousing Experience
* Be physically fit and able to pick and pack, as some heavy lifting is required
* Good written and verbal communications skills
* Previous warehouse experience and delivery experience is desirable but not essential
* Possess a high level of accuracy with attention to detail
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
