Occupational Therapy Role
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to provide care across various medical, surgical, and inpatient rehabilitation wards.
This role offers an opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality occupational therapy services. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and contributing to mentoring, education, and quality initiatives.
Key areas of focus include inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, orthopaedics, surgical, general medicine, and ICU. Shifts are Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify personal care, domestic, and community ADL needs.
* Develop and implement comprehensive treatment interventions to achieve functional goals for patients with complex needs.
* Evaluate and develop processes for inpatient and outpatient Occupational Therapy programs.
* Participate in regular multi-disciplinary team meetings to review patient plans and outcomes.
* Ensure high satisfaction levels for patients and external agencies through exceptional service delivery.
* Complete administrative duties, including liaison with administration teams and reporting of statistical data.
Requirements:
* Completion of a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Minimum 2 years of experience in Occupational Therapy.
* Ability to develop evidence-based clinical practices and hold a current Driver's License.
Benefits:
* Salary Grade 1: $70,866 to $97,980 per annum (pro rata for part time) plus 12% Superannuation.
* Salary Grade 2: $95,432 to $114,129 per annum (pro rata for part time) plus 12% Superannuation.
