We are actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehousing & Logistics Manager to drive excellence in our supply chain operations.About Your RoleReporting to the Planning & Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods.
Your primary focus will be to streamline operations, improve processes, and lead a diverse team to meet and exceed business objectives.This role will be offered on a full-time permanent basis, with up to 20 direct reports.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient workflows and compliance with safety regulations.Inventory Control: Maintain optimal inventory levels through accurate stock management and regular audits.Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate transportation of goods, manage relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of warehouse staff, promoting a culture of inclusion and collaboration.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence.About YouStrong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics management.Industry Knowledge: Experience in similar role, especially in the Rail industry or other safety-critical environments (automotive, defence, avionics, mining or heavy industry).Software Utilisation: Proficiency using software tools like MS Office (Word, Excel), warehouse management software and databases.
