About the Role
This role sits within a large Australian agriculture business with complex operations and a strong focus on continuous improvement. You will partner closely with operational leaders, providing high-quality financial and analytical insight to support decision making at both a tactical and strategic level. The position is highly visible and suited to someone who enjoys being embedded in the business, influencing outcomes through data, strong relationships, and commercial judgement.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with senior operational leaders to provide financial insight, challenge, and decision support
* Deliver detailed financial and operational analysis across production, processing, and supply chain activities
* Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting that track performance against key commercial and operational metrics
* Analyse cost drivers, margins, and productivity trends to identify improvement opportunities
* Provide clear, structured commentary on results, variances, and forecasts to non-finance stakeholders
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and rolling outlook processes with robust analysis and assumptions
* Present insights at performance review and operational meetings, translating data into practical actions
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data led analysis and financial modelling
* Work closely with the broader finance team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting
* Build trusted relationships across finance, operations, and senior leadership
About You
* Strong background in commercial finance, management accounting, or financial analysis
* Proven experience in a finance business partnering or stakeholder-facing role
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence operational leaders
* Advanced Excel capability and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or similar
* Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
* Able to work in the office 5 days a week
