Bread and Pastry Specialists
Experienced bakers and pastrycooks are required to join our bakery team in Evans Head, New South Wales. We offer a wide range of baked goods including pies, sausage rolls, breads, cakes, sweet pastries, and coffee.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure cleanliness and safety of equipment and premises before production runs by conducting regular checks and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
* Monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to determine optimal baking times, resulting in consistently high-quality products.
* Coordinate batch preparation, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of bread, rolls, and pastry products to meet customer demands and achieve efficiency goals.
Requirements:
* Relevant industry qualification or 2-3 years' experience in a similar position is highly desirable.
* Flexibility, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
