Responsibilities
We seek an exceptional Senior Solution Consultant (Presales) based in Australia to join our growing team. This role will report to our Director, Solutions Consulting ANZ and will play an integral role in creating a vision for our customers. It will also be the trusted advisor on Workato's AI Agentic capabilities to provide thought leadership, best practices, and help scale and drive adoption to achieve strategic initiatives.
To succeed, you must be able to articulate technology and communicate the value of Workato's products to prospective business and technical users and buyers, focusing on enterprise applications. You will also help shape the product and company direction by communicating market needs to the Product Management team.
As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you will be part of Workato's Presales Team and Architecture community, owning the technical alignment with customers during the pre-sales lifecycle through workshops and interactions that define the customer's future state for AI and Agentics.
This is an Asia-based role. Proximity to Singapore is preferred. You will enable clients to become proficient on Workato's Agentic Platform, empowering their employees and building AI Agent solutions.
You will also be responsible for:
* Collaborating with cross-functional customer teams, including data scientists, software engineers, AI leaders, and Architects, to demonstrate how Workato Agentic can transform their work.
* Partnering with Sales AEs, Solution Architects, and other teams to evangelize our AI capabilities, approach to delivering Workato Agent solutions, and tailored architecture for AI use cases.
* Explaining and educating on AI, Generative AI, and Agentics architectural concepts to diverse audiences, including digital leaders, AI engineers, prompt developers, data architects, enterprise architects, IT ops, and business units.
* Assisting sales teams with technical discovery and architecting/building AI blueprints using Workato products.
* Creating and delivering custom demos and AI use case presentations.
* Supporting solution accounts with technical workshops and POCs, either remotely or on-site.
* Responding to RFIs/RFPs' functional and technical requirements.
* Gathering feedback from the field, analyzing, and communicating insights to product management and engineering for the AI product roadmap.
* Supporting marketing activities like blogs, webinars, and industry speaking engagements.
* Staying updated on AI, machine learning, and Agentic advancements, integrating new research and tools into projects.
Requirements
Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field, or equivalent hands-on AI experience.
* Proven AI engineer with successful project portfolio.
* 6-10 years of pre-sales experience in SaaS or iPaaS environments.
* Experience with LLMs and chat-based AI applications.
* Strong knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, function calling, reasoning chains, and state-of-the-art techniques for LLM performance.
* Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, Amazon Bedrock, and Anthropic APIs.
* Experience with iPaaS technologies, middleware, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM, SDKs, and databases.
* Familiarity with Python programming or object-oriented principles.
