This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional with strong product knowledge and a passion for delivering solution-based results in the industrial and electrical wholesale sector.

About the Role

As a Sales Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing a defined sales territory, supporting customers with technical product advice, and promoting an extensive range of electrical and industrial products. You'll play a key role in building strong customer partnerships, developing new business, and contributing to the company's continued success in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

● Manage your sales territory and maintain regular communication with customers

● Follow up on quotations and maintain a strong project pipeline

● Conduct market and material research to support product development

● Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing customers

● Handle enquiries regarding product quality and specifications

● Work with customers to determine required standards and compliance needs

● Recommend suitable products and present technical or quality data when required

● Conduct face-to-face sales calls and promote the company's electrical product range

● Research new products and opportunities to meet customer demand

● Maintain and update the customer database

● Raise and document non-conformance reports when necessary

● Achieve and exceed sales targets

● Assist with cable sales and other related business opportunities

● Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental policies and practices

Skills & Experience

● Strong product knowledge across the industrial, mining, and electrical wholesaling sectors

● Proven experience in customer-facing sales or account management roles

● Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work within defined processes

● Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

● High attention to detail and accurate record-keeping

● Commitment to workplace health, safety, and quality assurance
