Are you passionate about supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness? We're seeking a compassionate and proactive Homelessness Case Manager to join a values-driven team in Central Queensland - Longreach, QLD.
Your new role
In this role, you'll provide tailored case management support to people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or housed but facing instability. You'll work across diverse environments, including homes, temporary accommodation, supported housing, and public spaces.
* Develop and implement individualised case plans
* Provide practical support, budgeting assistance, and referrals to community services
* Conduct risk assessments and safety planning
* Advocate for access to housing and specialist services
* Support clients in building social connections, accessing education and employment
* Collaborate with tenancy officers and other service providers
* Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with service standards
What you'll need to succeed
* Certificate IV in Community Services or similar
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a related role
* Understanding of DFV and Child Protection legislation
* Experience working with Indigenous and CALD communities
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders

* Full COVID-19 vaccination
* Open QLD Driver's Licence
* Mobile phone with MFA capability
* Willingness to travel as needed
