We are seeking a passionate and experienced Program Worker to join our Women's Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Homelessness Services supporting the Lismore Women's Refuge.
This role provides an opportunity to work alongside women and children escaping domestic and family violence, supporting them through crisis, recovery and their pathway to safe and stable housing.
Our refuge provides safe accommodation and intensive support to women and children experiencing violence. Program Workers play a critical role in supporting women during one of the most challenging periods of their lives, ensuring safety, advocacy and connection to longer-term support services.
As a Program Worker within the Lismore Women's Refuge, you will provide crisis response, case management and practical support to women and children residing in refuge accommodation.
You will work within a trauma-informed and strengths-based practice framework, supporting women to stabilise their situation, access services and plan their next steps toward independence.

* Participate in reflective practice, supervision and case reviews
This role works within a refuge environment and community settings and includes participation in shift work and the Domestic Violence Response Enhancement (DVRE) after-hours on-call roster.
The position is currently funded until 31 December 2027.
