We are seeking a skilled Optical Dispenser to join our team in Manuka, Canberra.
Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for eye care to work closely with our optometrists, providing high-quality optical dispensing services while assisting with administrative and clinical support.
* Provide expert advice on lens and frame selection to meet patients' needs.
* Perform optical dispensing, including adjustments and repairs.
* Support the optometrist with pre-testing and patient care.
* Assist with contact lens teaching and dry eye treatments (training provided).
* Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records.
* Contribute to the practice's merchandising and visual presentation.
* Opportunity to manage and create content for the practice's social media accounts.
Requirements:
* Experience in optical dispensing or an interest in developing dispensing skills.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Customer service-oriented with a friendly and patient approach.
* Professional presentation and a passion for fashion-forward eyewear.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a small, close-knit team.
