We're looking for a Part-Time Coffee Shop Assistants / Baristas (25 hours per fortnight) to deliver a quality café experience for our residents and their guests.
Roster: Week 1: Thursday Friday, 9am – 2pm Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday Friday, 9am –2pm If you love making great coffee, enjoy connecting with people, and thrive in a friendly, community-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do Prepare and serve high-quality barista-made coffee and beverages Create a warm, café-style customer experience Prepare simple food items (sandwiches, toasties, light meals) Support meal service for residents in our serviced apartments Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene Operate coffee machines and kitchen equipment safely and confidently About you You'll bring: Previous experience as a Barista or working in a café or hospitality environment A friendly, customer-focused approach and the ability to build rapport with residents Reliability, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for service A Safe Food Handling certificate (or willingness to obtain) A Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain) Experience in retirement living, aged care, or community settings is welcome but not essential, your attitude and commitment to great service matter most.
