Position Overview
Due to continued business growth, we are expanding our sales team and adding an additional Clinical Sales Specialist to our team in Canberra. This role is based in Canberra.
As a Clinical Sales Specialist, you will be part of a regional sales team, promoting and selling Dentsply Sirona consumable products within a defined ACT territory. You will drive market share and penetration while maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships through a clinically led sales approach.

Deliver and exceed sales and growth targets for your territory through effective clinical sales activity, strong product knowledge, and customer engagement aligned with regional and national strategies.

Key Accountabilities
Planning
* Develop, manage, and implement the annual Territory Sales Plan to achieve agreed sales targets and broader business objectives
* Conduct ongoing strategic market and competitor analysis to remain responsive to market trends and changes
* Support the Sales Manager in the development of long-term strategic plans
Sales Plan Implementation
* Build strong relationships with external customers and internal stakeholders to maximise business opportunities
* Identify key decision-makers and opinion leaders and collaborate with colleagues to develop sustainable partnerships
* Understand and communicate customer needs and expectations to internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer outcomes
* Act as the primary customer contact to address and resolve customer issues in collaboration with relevant internal teams
* Partner with the Sales Manager to develop and deliver regional Clinical Education initiatives, leveraging internal expertise, external KOLs, and technical demonstrators
Reporting & Analysis
* Measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust activities to optimise customer and business outcomes
* Record all sales activities accurately in the CRM system on a daily basis
* Conduct monthly sales analysis and implement corrective actions to achieve targets
* Review portfolio and segment performance monthly and contribute to territory reporting
* Establish efficient systems and processes to manage workload and activities effectively
Knowledge
* Maintain up-to-date clinical, technical, and product knowledge through self-directed learning and training
* Ensure ongoing understanding of company systems, processes, and procedures
Teamwork
* Work collaboratively within the sales team, providing support and sharing responsibility as required
* Partner closely with the Sales Manager and State Manager to identify opportunities to grow Dentsply Sirona’s business in the region
Health & Safety
* Comply with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures
* Proactively identify, report, and manage health and safety risks
* Use required personal protective equipment and follow internal safety protocols at all times
Experience & Qualifications
* Relevant degree or certificate preferred
* Formal sales training desirable
* Demonstrated experience in a similar sales or territory management role
* Knowledge of the dental or healthcare market is advantageous
