Job Overview:
The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the channel sales strategy, building relationships with customers and partners, managing key performance indicators, and analyzing sales data to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute the channel sales strategy to achieve defined sales targets and revenue growth
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners within the channel
* Manage budgets for channel-related activities, including marketing initiatives
* Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate effectiveness of channel strategies and initiatives
* Provide day-to-day management, support, and development to members of the channel team
* Lead by example and model the standards of behavior expected of all employees
Requirements:
* At least 5 years of experience in sales and territory management within a technical consumer durable channel with proven sales track record
* 3 years of sales team management experience
* Ambitious, self-starter with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Strong business acumen with understanding of the market and competitors' products
* Excellent interpersonal skills with all business parties (internal and external)
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Knowledge of CRM tools, specifically Salesforce
Travel Requirements:
* Frequent domestic travel and occasional overseas travel will be required
