Position: People and Culture Advisor
Location: Numurkah, with travel to Cobram and Nathalia as required
EFT/Hours: 0.8 EFT to Full Time (64 to 80 Hours Per Fortnight)
Status: Part Time/Full Time - Fixed Term until September 2026 (Internal Higher Duties backfill)
Hourly Rate: HS3 Level 1-5 $37.6763 - $41.6526 or HS4 $42.3368 Level 1 (depending on qualifications and experience) per hour plus 12% superannuation
About the Role
NCN Health has an exciting opportunity for a People and Culture Advisor to join our People, Safety and Engagement team.
The People and Culture Advisor is a generalist human resources (HR) role that supports the People and Engagement Manager and Director People, Safety and Engagement, working across NCN Health as required to provide a range of responsive HR services across NCN Health.
Responsibilities
* Interpretation of enterprise agreements (EA's);
* Provision of advice and support to managers on all employee relations policies, processes and programs;
* Advice and support on applications for Parental Leave, Transition to Retirement, Placement, Flexible Work Arrangements and Work from Home arrangements;
* Policy development and review;
* Agency recruitment;
* Development of training resources for managers.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
* Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended)
* Previous experience working in a similar position, preferably in Public Health
* Ability to understand, interpret and apply clauses of Enterprise Agreements, Awards, Policies and Procedures
* Previous experience with Human Force Talent, HR Onboard and Payglobal, or similar systems
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication (listening, written and verbal) skills, including the ability to work with a diverse range of people
