RACQ is a company that aims to make a positive impact every day with opportunities to learn, grow, and be more. As the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for improving financial outcomes, commercial margins, and overall profitability of the Assistance business.
About The Role
This role involves budgeting, forecasting, month-end analysis and reporting. You will also serve as a crucial finance contact for stakeholders and a subject matter expert for our Assistance business.
Key Responsibilities
 * Preparing timely and accurate monthly management reports and financial analysis.
 * Managing the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the Assistance business.
 * Providing strategic financial consultation to senior leaders to optimise financial outcomes and profitability.
 * Maintaining oversight of financial ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
 * Completing all end-of-month processes and ensuring cost-effective strategies are followed.
 * Influencing senior stakeholders in improving the financial performance of their business unit, taking a holistic business consultant approach.
 * Coordinating all financial reporting and management accounts in consultation with the Group Finance team.
About You
 * Extensive experience in preparation and delivery of financial analysis, cost-benefit analysis, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
 * Excellent stakeholder management, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
 * Strong financial and analytical skills with an ability to influence decisions based on data.
 * A proactive and collaborative approach with a focus on building relationships.
 * Working knowledge of financial and business intelligence systems.
 * Qualified CPA/CA/CIMA or equivalent membership is preferred.
