- Prior bookkeeping, accounts support experience is essential
- Experience with architecture/design practice is advantageous

**The Company**

A medium-sized architecture practice offering architecture, interior design and masterplanning services within the the Industrial, Commercial, Residential, and Education sectors.

**The Role**:
This is a newly created role and you will be reporting into the Business Support Manager. You will also be liaising with the external accountant and bookkeepers regularly.

You will be responsible to managing all aspects of finance administration including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, payroll, month-end reporting, data maintenance of accounts information, etc.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- AP - reviewing invoices, staff expense claims, processing payments/bank transfers
- AR - generating invoices and quotes, debt collection, reconcile bank transactions
- Setting up supplier accounts
- Creating monthly reports
- Entering accounts information in project management system - Total Synergy
- Manage staff payroll
- Liaise with project teams in regards to project cashflow forecasts
- Liaise with external bookkeeper and accountants

**Skills and experience**:

- **2-3 years experience as a finance officer, project finance administrator, assistant accountant, bookkeeper, AR/AP, etc**:

- Prior experience in an architecture/design practice is highly regarded
- Strong understanding of the project finance administration
- **Experience with XERO and Total Synergy is advantageous.**:

- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
