About the Opportunity

We are seeking applications for First Nations people to join our team for ongoing permanent positions at our villages in the Bowen Basin region, commencing through June, July and August. We are offering the opportunity to attend an Assessment Centre to learn about what a career with Civeo can do for you, as well as a comprehensive insight into life and working in our Villages. This is a half day event where you'll participate in activities, meet with the TA team & operational leaders, and ask any questions you might have. Positions available include General Assistants (Kitchen, Housekeeping, Bar / Retail Attendants etc.) Guest Services Assistants, Facilities Attendants as well as supervisory roles in each of these areas.
Your participation at our Assessment Centre will enable us to make swift hiring decisions and you can expect an outcome within 10 days of attending. This session will be held in Moranbah on Thursday 8 May, and we encourage First Nations candidates to attend and learn more about our available opportunities and connecting to local First Nations communities.
The villages we are hiring for are located throughout the Bowen Basin in Coppabella, Dysart, Moranbah, Middlemount, Nebo and surrounds.

Essential Requirements
* Valid Australian working rights (First Nations candidates encouraged)
* Be willing to undertake a National Police Clearance
* Valid Drivers license – Manual C class preferred but others considered
* Ability to commit to ongoing 2:1 roster, involving 2 weeks living and working on site, one week R&R. Note: Some roles offer a 5:2 roster for residents of Dysart, Nebo, Middlemount and Moranbah
* Able to travel via Drive In / Drive out to the Bowen Basin or via our free chartered buses from Mackay
* Able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
* Flexible to work both day or night shifts as required for your role
* Willing to complete required company and site inductions
