Job Description:
We are seeking a Territory Manager to join our team. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing assigned territories and developing strategic plans to achieve optimal results.
You will market and promote our products within the guidelines of our company quality policy and procedures in assigned territories. Your sales goals and objectives will be met and exceeded by having a full knowledge of our products, offerings, and surgical techniques, understanding customer needs and professionally positioning our products above the competition to fulfill those needs.
Essential Functions:
1. Meet or exceed all sales goals and objectives assigned in assigned territory.
2. Gain and consistently increase product knowledge through formal sales training; surgeon speaker programs, attending surgeries or visits, and industry research.
3. Maintain conduct that is aligned with company quality policy, and protect confidentiality with proprietary information.
4. Communicate new ideas promptly to product development.
5. Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed.
6. Develop thorough knowledge and understanding of all our products and major competitors in all product areas.
7. Regularly provide feedback on topics such as product development opportunities, new target accounts, sales performance, and market feedback.
8. Develop relationships with key spine surgeon customers.
9. Maintain Consignments and Loaner inventory, move loaner sets between accounts as needed.
10. Regularly communicate with the Area Director to review status of Business Plan including: utilization of resources, discussions on strategy, sales execution, obtaining approval for educational programs, resolution of issues and outstanding administrative responsibilities.
11. Create and implement an annual business plan with quarterly updates.
12. Manage travel expenses within budget.
13. Effectively manage any qualified Associate Spine Specialist.
14. Adhere to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
15. Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.
16. Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties.
